Nanda performs at NovemberFest

Posted on: Tuesday, October 18, 2011

Nanda?  Yes, Nanda, or Ninja Acrobaticalism, as they have coined the phrase.  Will generously be donating a performance at NovemberFest, a fall benefit for The Healing Center.  (Last week to purchase tickets at a discount – Click here to Register.)

Who or what is Nanda?  A four man acrobaticalist performing arts troupe, according to their website.

NANDA (pronounced, nah-n-dah):  A colloquial Japanese expletive used in reaction to something strange or unusual. Literal translation; “What??!”

Acrobaticalism (pronounced, acrobatical-ism):  An ideal of unbounded imagination and creative agility.

Presently performing “THE JACKET, ” combining comedy and irreverent pop-culture references for an entirely original performance.
The show features a cutting edge cinematic soundtrack, as well as tightly integrated video projections and digital animations – all the while borrowing from circus, vaudeville, and classic western theater traditions.
